Mark Roberts, owner of EX-Men Renovators, is originally from River Hebert, NS. In his early years, he moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1991.
David Dorn was the owner of DJD Renovations and a SAIT graduate in engineering. He worked with Mark extensively hands-on, training him in all aspects of home renovations, such as how to do things right and build strong structures.

After several big projects, Dave Dorn once again approached Mark to do window and door installations as well as sunroom installations. After several years, Dave decided to open up his own sunroom company where Mark worked as an installer for a few more years, then moved into the office. In the office, Mark did the estimating for jobs, handled pricing and managed field supervision of crews. Dave eventually sold the sunroom company and went on to do vinyl decks and aluminum railings. Mark went out to the oil fields where he has been a supervisor for the past 6 years.
In the last two years, Mark recently relocated back to Amherst, where he decided to start up a renovations company to pursue his true passion. He now resides in Tidnish Bridge, NS.
After having established a relationship with Rolco Rollshutters in the past, he decided to bring a dealership home to the Maritimes. As an authorized Rolco Rollshutters dealer, he reserves the right to install residential and commercial security shutters, such for sturdy security cabinets for protecting valuables, firearms, and more.
